Power is one of the criteria for evaluating the brightness of an LED strip.
Traditionally, it is believed that the amount of light directly depends on the power of the strip. White Ulight strips produce from 80 to 178 lm per 1 W of power. Conventionally, it is considered that 7 W of the strip replaces a 100 W incandescent lamp.
In addition, the power of the strip must be taken into account when choosing a power source. Strips with a power of up to 9 W/m do not require additional heat dissipation. Strips with a power higher than 9 W/m should be placed on any aluminum profile to dissipate heat. Particularly powerful strips above 15 W/m should be placed only on a massive aluminum profile. Do not allow the tape to heat up to +60 °
